Kicking off this challenge I needed a framework, something to scaffold the month long project. I wanted to minimize dependencies and force myself to learn the base layer technologies.
So day 1 set that up - and because most of time spent was on the scaffolding I needed a simple concept for the generative art piece.
I came up with a simple algorithm that divided the canvas into two colored rectangles. Then divided those rectangles. Rectangles all the way down. Stuck with primary colours and was aiming for a Mondrian like feel.
